That place should come with some sort of health warning, imo!
Well I'll be damned!

Wait a minute, no I won't.
This doesn't surprise me one little bit. Everything about these fundamentalist Christians is daft. In America its even worse, with millions of people actually believing this nonsense.
there are some holding views like this who occupy powerful positions, or are very well connected.

I stopped reading when I got to the dinosaurs co existing with people bit.
The way to deal with this is to use logic, rational, debate, and big dollop of ridicule.
so the National Trust is under fire for even daring toquote[ mention] other viewpoints about the Giants Causeway? Typical evolutionary correctness
does everything come up in two's, think on that, oh dear oh dear, what will they think of next to bewilder our children with.

Not at all. There’s nothing wrong in teaching children that for which we have evidence – but there’s everything wrong in teaching children that for which we have none.
Just read it the article. I would be very interested to know just how busy this place is, and would be more concerned if their was evidence to suggest that local schools actually used it as a place for "field trips".

There was a suggestion in the article that animal welfare might be an issue too - does this place keep animals?

Other than that though- it is just an absurdity. Its a mistaken effort of Canute-ian proportions to continue to reject or twist or deny the evidence in favour of scriptural literalism.Quite sad really.
well they seem to be expecting elephants.....which they are going to confine using electrified fencing :(
