Those people on here who are non believers, if you were true believers previously, what caused you to reject the notion of God and religion

//Does science know everything about cosmology?//

I think it probably suspects that stars are not there to drive away demons.

As for the rest, your extra verses add nothing. It's still the same inaccurate twaddle.

Never mind, Keyplus. ;o)
Didn't I say it would not make any difference to your thinking? But don't worry I do not even post all these for you. Its for others who may have an open mind. So yes never mind, it will hurt you.
And by the way do one more thing what you do the best. Say "never mind" and once the person is away then creep in quietly, post and then say on another thread that on such and such thread you still have not answer. Crafty, is the simple word for this sort of behaviour.
@Keyplus - You know, I dont even think you can appreciate the irony of that last post of yours. The thought of fervently religious individual accusing others of having a closed mind is just laughable in the extreme.
Lazy - Did Naomi email you to put one post up?
Keplus, of course she creeps in quietly, how do you think she gets you with that huge custard pie every single time?
Ratter - In other words you admit that Naomi is crafty.
Keyplus, I told you a day or so back. Stop being so damned rude! If your irrational arguments don't stand up to scrutiny - which they don't - it's your own fault for putting them forward.

When you resort to attacking the messenger you have lost the debate - and you have. Get over it!
RATTER15, I do so agree. Why naomi bothers to try to 'debate' with keyplus (or the resurrected Theland, if it comes to that) is a mystery. Like you, I gave him up ages ago. Closed minds, by definition, are not open to rational debate.
Oh, and by the way, has anyone read the original question recently? It seems that in 89 replies, I am one of the few who has answered that question with the straight personal facts that oldnitro wanted.

Really?

So very simply why Naomi can’t ignore me? According to you (Chakka) you have done so and I remember it was since I asked you few questions about why you believe in certain things you can’t prove with your given senses and do not believe in God? I will leave that aside now but perhaps Naomi can’t take your advice and ignore me because I pose her challenge all the time.
An after thought,

I am sure she came out of "retirement" because of me. As others from the same faith might have told her during AGM that they need someone of her abilities. The one who would never accept and admit. After all it is a very rare quality.
Chakka, I answered the original question, but sad to say, I was led astray by the evils of religion. ;o).

Keyplus, you are funny. Chakka doesn't avoid you because he can't answer your questions. He avoids you because he very sensibly doesn't suffer fools. As for your challenges to me, on this occasion, as always, you lost. As I said, get over it!
I don't know about Naomi definitely take on the debate because the religious dig their own holes when pushed on the analysis of their beliefs

Nothing is more powerful as a demonstration of the value of secular philosophy than the believers demonstrating the absurdity of their own faith.
beso I don't know about Naomi [but I] definitely ...
chakka, i answered with straight personal facts, although there was no conversionin my life.

generallly i am not easily led astray. i am immune to such wiles.
My father was a very wise man who told me to "believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see."

When I was kid I could see religion was all based on the idea of "hearing the Word".
//Finally, please do not hold back and keep firing and I will keep explaining. Although I know it may never benefit you but of course there are others around.//

Actually, looking at that ^^ Chakka and Ratter, Beso is right. Goodness, left to his own devices Keyplus would have the more gullible believing, among other things, that Allah determines a baby's sex after 42 nights, that stars were made as missiles against demons - and that one day science will prove the existence of said devils. No, upon reflection, I agree with Beso. We have a duty.
...and religionists have a duty to defend their faith and so the cycle goes, and history repeats .......
beso, i reckon my mum and dad said pretty much the same to all us kids. they weren't religious and never encouraged us to be.
