I and a number of my friends have had emails apparently from their friends including a web address which when you go to it, it is an advertisement for a wide range of Viagra products. The email which has been hjacketed is a ' hotmail ' address. I suppose it's an appropriate address when you think about it.
However I thought you would like to know.

my boss keeps getting emails from our rather prim receptionist advertising viagra

This has happened to my sister's emails. She looked like she was sending us viagra adverts from Canadian pharmacy.

Hijacking is hacking into someones website or email and using it for their own ends.
In this case it obtained all the contacts in my friends contact list and directed them to their own retail outlet.
