Why do old people always, always pay with handfuls of loose change when they get to the head of the queue in supermarkets?

It takes them ages to count it out, what with their shaking hands and poor eyesight.

And their inane banter about the price of eggs and how cold it is today slows things further still...

Honestly, can't they pay with a note and speed things up, or should we have a dedicated aisle in supermarkets for old people?

scot, will katie be on her own in solitary ?
Question Author
No, that would be cruel.

I shall offer her a choice of any of the postees on this thread to join her - and my Irish Wolfhound Bejaysus, who is seven feet tall, if he's an inch.

And flatulent.

Hi Baby Jane.

Katie won't be laughing after half an hour in the company of Bejaysus...

she surely wont if she fancies a charcoal biscuit.

Did someone mention tea?
Question Author
That's right Peppy - you just make yourself a cuppa.

Don't bother asking us hard working postees if we'd like one...

No, no, don't get up. Not on my account anyway.

You just sit there drinking your tea and having a laugh.

Anybody else fancy a cup of tea round at Peppy's place?
As your asking, thanks

If you'd ever shared a space with Bejaysus, you'd know what one of his toxic blasts can do to a human brain.

Tragic really.

My Labrador, Emily doesn't do things like that. She's far to girly and pretty and lovely and beautiful.x
