Locust - I'm not an atheist and I do my best and I think that is all God expects.  Our church is open to all and helping anyone who asks in any way we can.  Just being there for people, available, reliable and NORMAL is important.

People are frightened enough by the world and I have known some who have been driven to desperation by your sort of hammering away at them.  You won't stop, but please start to understand that you are not necessarily correct and that you can do harm, please.

Thanks naomi.  I felt that I had to  try.  I have known someone who turned up late  at  night at our vicar's door - completely terrified after being hammered at by the sort of  thing locust is saying.

It took a lot to put him and his  family back on an even keel.

I've said my piece locust.  Tomorrow I shall play the organ and we shall all sing happily about 3 Kings, make people welcome, serve coffee and biscuits and tell them about Coffee,Chat and Craft Wednesday afternoons where there will be a warm, happy space for all.

The odd thing about Jehovah's Witnesses, and I've noticed it particularly on this forum, they are always reluctant to reveal the brand of religion they follow.  They dance around every question and so it's left to the Miss Marple/Poirot within the curious to discern from their contributions here exactly which flavour of Christianity they are representing.  Perhaps you can tell us why you're so hesitant to reveal your allegiance, Locust?

Andy. When reading your story, I had to chuckle. To myself and think about, you're talking about going to Heaven. But the scriptures, actually .said that everybody does not go to heaven. The actual scripture talks. About two sets of people. Those who are destined to go to heaven. Because of their pure heart. And those who will receive a Resurrection upon the Earth. There is no mention of every person going into heaven. Because in John 5:28.29. It talks about those being resurrected. To a life upon this earth, so there your story is quite intriguing .but not genuine
