did his spirit guide warn him about this?
Question Author
I wondered that myself, mushroom.
I used to enjoy watching him on Most Haunted until he was called out by the then resident sceptic.

Nevertheless, RIP.
No reason why this should hinder his 'career'.
We shouldn't speak ill of the dead. So I won't. By the way, how do you spell charlatan?
nooo.. i wonder if he is going to come back and tell us what it's like..
He can be with his spirit guide Sam now.
Perhaps if you ask nicely at the Ouija board he may visit and tell you what it's like.
RIP Derek Acorah.... Keep in touch.
He was a charlatan as far as I'm concerned. He once claimed to be the voice of Charles I, who would never had referred to himself as such.

When Charles I was alive he was simply "King Charles" not "Charles I".
Yes Sam was his little spirit guide sat on his shoulder? Just a very good entertainer IMO.
He got caught out by claiming to be in touch with spirits who were said to haunt the building which was pencilled in for the team's next investigation, proving that he'd obviously discovered the schedule somehow and done his own research. He was immediately fired from the show, but continued to tour up and down the country, which shows more about the gullibility of the general public than his own showmanship.
LOL, best answer to Nailit 15:45!
I have no time for 'mediums' (media???) as such, and I found him creepy and oily, and wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.

That said, I would never wish any harm to the man.
Some people did. Not me, though.
Showmanship for the gullible.
I've been to a few Derren Brown shows. He had some choice words about Derek Acorah and his ilk. Now would be the perfect time for Acorah to get his own back ...
