Thank you V-E. I realise you are being sarcastic but I'm not sure why. As for Lefties forming a group I am not sure whether you are including me (consistent Tory voter), Baldric (doubt he's a Lefty) or Divebuddy (not a Lefty).

Anyway, if you and Naomi clearly know what the thread is about I wondered whether you have a contribution which addresses the question.

I think you think he is suggesting there may be a puppet master behind IS. I don't know- Naomi knows Islam well and may think someone is pulling the strings or it may be that it is just a movement of like minded people.

I my first response which seemed to be sneered at I was querying what the OP was about and pointing out that terror groups are not a new phenomenon.

Undoubtedly true David. However Diesel left a vague angry outburst with no clear main question, so, in fairness, one could not expect folk to treat it seriously until there was further clarification. Maybe they'll return to revive the thread or maybe they'll leave it. Time will tell.
