This Week I Have Received Two Invitations

2 Smear test


I am waiting with bated breath for the bowel cancer screening invite.

Are there any invites, I have not yet received?

My life is just one, big, social whirl!

The podiatrist for me, threatened with GP then hospital, life is just a whirl of engagements

Dentist looming as well, not to mention all of friend's appointments

Your lucky I get invitations to increase my manly hood and arrange my funeral! Who is my wife talking to? And should I be concerned?

The Mammogram is an appointment but the smear test is a day of my own choosing. Perhaps I should do them both on the same day and get it over and done with. Neither of them are pleasant experiences!

Sibs, feet are important. Make sure you go to your podiatrist. :-)

Feet are important especially with smear test!! Worked with a doctor who often complained that patients always cleaned their intimate area before a smear test but forgot to clean their feet!

a smear test potentially saved my life, and it's free! I got a free laser show out of it, too

At least I don't have the smear test anymore, the rest are enough.

I got the invitation for the mammogram and bowel screening a matter of days after my 50th birthday. Made me feel really really old.

This will be my last smear test as they stop after the age of 64........hooray!

When do they stop doing routine mammograms?

Being increased to 73 this year. Think I will have to carry on requesting i=one though. So what I gained with the smear test I lose on the mammograms.
Tough at my last one I was told I have excellent Pectoral muscles.

I know that I'm joking about the screening programmes but I do actually feel that I am being looked after.

But.....mine seem to be like buses......they all come at once.
