Man Arrested Over Death Of 1,600 Pigs

How can so many animals starve in such a short period of time.

I admit that I am a meat eater but this is a horrible way to die.

There must be something in the background that is not immediately apparent, after all 1600 pigs must be quite an investment so why just let them die?

I think that its the scale that stunned me. I would have thought that many pigs would require more than one person to care for them.

As you say we have very little to go on - but I do know that that many starving pigs would have made quite a noise.

Farm name is rather ironic given that no one seemed to give that.

At least they won't have to suffer the horrors of the slaughterhouse now where it seems more an more workers like to torment they before killing them. Poor bloody things can't win.
