I don't know the ins and outs of immigration but I do know that my cousins husband didn't find it easy to be allowed to stay here even though his parents were already here.

He's from Trinidad and even getting a work permit took a long time. Their marriage was investigated even though they had a honeymoon baby.

They are still happily married 10 years on...
