If one hasn't read the book or seen the film, is one allowed to make a comment?

yes, AOG, I haven't seen it or read the book. I just wonder what it's doing to the minds of women in Glasgow!
Kinky sex in the Multiplex, whatever next.

I assumed a fight was compulsary at any Glasgow cinema on Saturday night.
I think it is more to do with what is alcohol doing to the minds of these women rather than what this film is doing to their minds?
Gromit

The automatic assumption that the altercation was motivated by the viewing is an easy one - and no doubt the conclusion this puff piece wants you to reach.

It could have been something as simple as shuffling along the row and treading on one of the ladies' toes and failing to apologise.

Isn't this film getting enough hype without us joining in as well?

Heck - I have just joined in!
Andy-Hughes

The victim apparently told the 'ladies' to be quiet because they were being rowdy.
Gromit - "Andy-Hughes

The victim apparently told the 'ladies' to be quiet because they were being rowdy."

Thanks for that - I must have missed the background.

Last time I asked someone to keep their voice down in a cinema, I was physically threatened - the video generation has a lot to answer for!!

One time I went there was a guy a few rows in front asleep and snoring. I threw maltesers at his head until he woke up.
