If Jesus were to return to earth today, how would he prove he was actually Jesus and not just be seen as a magician? Would anyone believe him?

Sorry to point out the obvious but this isn't a question about Scotland and it's not in ChatterBank!!
anneasquith plenty of those I worked with in Aberdeen had enjoyed a luxury such as a deep fried mars bar. I decided against that pleasure, being diabetic there was too much refined sugar involved.

Deep fried pizzas sprung up now and again. Indeed I don't think anything on that manor is not deep fryable.
I don't think Jesus (whether you believe or not) ever set out to 'prove himself' therefore he wouldn't have to if he was on Earth today. I imagine he would have some followers and many disbelievers as he did years ago.
Wharton, the English do pronounce Wales and whales differently Wales has a capital W at the beginning whereas whales hasna'.
Ummmm, 'and some fall upon stony ground'.
ummmm - Look back in the posts and see who first mentioned Scotland.

flobadob - In answer to your question, no.
He would empty the Clyde so we could have back our ship building

I know who mentioned it first and that comment 'alone' was amusing.
jomifl - Try and pronounce my username properly, It's got a capital W :-)

tamborine - You saw a ship on the Clyde? Wot age are you? :-)

Steve.5 - Aye :-)

ummmm - Wotever keeps you 'appy :-)

flobadob - My apologies for this nonsense.
^Wharton :o)
Too many sceptics, too many magicians, too many atheists....
He wouldnt have a chance, he would branded as insane or a bloody good illusionist!
A DNA test should do it.
Yeah Naomi, I will call Jeremy Kyle, it would make for a good show!
But if he were Jesus, would he have DNA?
Nice Jeremy Kyle headline 'My dad is God.....and I can prove it'
I thought that when Jesus came back, all the dead would rise from their graves and return to heaven with him. That might be a big clue. unless, I've got it wrong
In Islam there are prophecies foretold by Muhammad (pbuh) and very clear signs of when and where he would return. I don't think Muslims would have any problem in recognising him however Christians will have to prove that they are his followers as they are way out when it comes to his teachings even according to the Bible available today.
jd - /he would be branded insane/

as the saying goes 'when one man is deluded we call it insanity, when the masses are deluded we call it religion.'
anneasquith, "if he turned wine into water, people would at least take notice of him."

Personally i'm not so sure, I myself have turned wine into water many times as I am sure you also have, however, turning water into wine would certainly improve his popularity, especially in Scotland! :-)
