My dad has told me this lateral thinking riddle but unfortunately doesn't have the answer. We also can't be sure if the wording is 100% accurate. Can anyone shed any light on it.

"I met a travelling Chinaman. With him he had two glass cubes. Inside one was a million dollar bill and inside the other was a $100 bill. You can choose one or both of the cubes, but those that choose both end up losing it all. Which one would you choose?"

Any ideas?

Thanks, Sue

There is no such valid currency as a million dollar bill so it must be counterfeit.  Therefore go for the $100 bill - at least there is a chance of it being real.
