Christmas Stockings

Unbelievable - I have lost the Christmas stockings again. I couldn't find them last year, so bought five more. Consequently, I found the original ones so I had 10 (and I've lost them all). (I distinctly told a friend where I had put them so I wouldn't be in this position and she (not surprisingly) can't remember where I've put them either). Anyone think Christmas carrier bags would work?

Pff, what century are you in? Christmas carrier bags are ALL the rage! At least that's what I'm telling my family this year :)

I've looked everywhere for them, just know I will find them as soon as I get some more (carry on like this and I can open my own market stall to get rid of the surplus ones).

Get a chuffin large plastic box, put all Christmas stuff in that box and nowhere else so it is easy to find in 2013.

That's what we do, shoota, except it's several large plastic boxes - Christmas has its own shed :-)

Did you put them inside the big present bags? That's where 1 set of mine were. The other set were still hanging behind the kids doors (with some bits still in!) since last Christmas - in my defence they were under dressing gown/jackets on their hooks :)

Sherrard... try looking for a carrier bag that may have fallen out of the decorations box... maybe behind a wardrobe or in the loft....

I know what you mean Rowan, often things fall out of a carrier into the loft.

I don't go in the loft (himself has checked it). I know I put them somewhere 'safe', but obviously can't remember where. In my defence, I knew exactly where the Christmas hats were when I needed them.
