Just returned from a wonderful performance by Lincoln Cathedral Choir and Lincoln Chamber Orchestra, fabulous night, thanks to all concerned.

I've learnt (the hard way) that one should never attend a performance of Handel's Messiah, given in a church, unless you take a nice soft cushion to put on very hard pews ;-)
