Probably best if you tell the Housing Benefit all benefits you receive. I don't know if getting DLA effects levels of housing benefit.
Pop this question into another category for an answer . Try chatter bank or business and finance ( opens up personal finance ) .
I am sure weecalf wasn't being nasty- it was just a way of pointing out you'd posted it in Crosswords so some of those who can advise on benefits matters may not see it
I don't think weecalf was being nasty. He was just pointing out that Crosswords is the wrong place to post your question.
Perhaps someone on the "Law" site could be of assistance to you.
Just pointing out you were in crosswords as factors says .

If you post a question into another category it's not likely to be seen by the people who can help - particularly with the Crosswords category, where it'll get swallowed up in no time.
Kirsty has now reposted this in Business and Finance so it's probably best if we post all answers on there now.
As far as I am aware you will not get less housing benefit but you could get more. As others have said you have to inform them anyway when you have change to the money you have coming in. DLA isn't treated like any other income.
