I absolutely cannot stand watching drag. I have to switch it over. Except for one episode of Friends with Kathleen Turner in it, though technically that wasn't drag I suppose.

DEN, have to disagree with you, I love cookery shows, Great British Menu, Masterchef, Hells Kitchen and the like. Chris thanks for the offer, but no thanks. Maybe we'll just go for a couple of pints in your local irish bar instead.
Anything that relies on people making themselves look stupid....so that includes the talent shows, the progs like JK and the like and also programs supposed to be comedy where the main protagonist is a pretentious buffoon and doesn't realize it.. so that includes Only fools, anything with Ricky Gervais and actually most modern comedy to be honest
agree there rowan, I also dislike the new breed of films that get their "humour" by setting up cringeworthy or humiliating situations.
Watching rugby, football, tennis, cricket.....any sports that involves balls, basically.
Candid camera plumbed the depths. I could never understand why any of the victims allowed their humiliation to be screened.

Well I loved The Office, and the US version, and also enjoyed Extras, but I am not so fond of The Ricky Gervais Show. It's a bit samey and seems to consist of some monotone diatribe followed my the phrase "odd little man" or a variation thereof. Not great.
I cannot see anything funny about Ricky Gervais, I just don't get him.
Mrs. C. - we sing from the same hymn book hahaha
I liked the original office, but generally I dont find him amusing, less so now he has become even more egotistical
mrs c. i love most ball games. except maybe cricket.
Anything with Stephen Fry in it..................
reality tv - yuk

dancing on ice and most things like BGT

bad comedy - i.e. slapstick (quite like Outnumbered and The News Quiz)

Michael McIntyre and most stand-ups

Songs of Praise

Adverts and why has the UK gone backwards - they used to be quiet amusing to watch if you had been living outside the country.

like cooking, sports (most - except boxing and synch swimming), antiques, history and some detectives. Lovs Spooks

Dont mind Emmerdale. Enders, Corrie and Waterloo you can keep.
I've just thought of another.....watching the Grand Prix.
Hospital drama .. old re runs of quiz programmes .. those nanny programmes.

I generally avoid all soaps. I like comedies though its hard to find good comedies.
I know you'll disagree Flobs, but I loath all cooking program with a passion. And all those 'reality' (fake) shows.
Two and a Half Men has to be near the top of my list. Why do producers think putting canned laughter after every sentence makes the inane funny?

Songs of Praise (hymn singing) on Sunday morning.

Anything with Robin Williams in it.
Question Author
beso that is pretty specific but generally terrible so called comedies is what you are referring to. wildwood, obviously I disagree. Also beso yeah about RW except for Good Morning Vietnam, just about.
Just given Dad his last lot of tablets. He's put Foyle's War on, so at least I wont be kept awake with Judy Garland until 6am!
