Do you do this? For example if you were having an argument with someone in the Society and Culture topic, would you then ignore that persons question in Technology, for example. Or do you just help were you can but stand your ground in other sections?

Depends on how arsed I can be... Generally I'm not particularly helpful as I know nothing anyway! ;0)
Who did this to you?

No...I try my very hardest not to.

If I knew the answer from a OP I didn't like I would still answer it.

Half the time I don't even look to see whose questions I'm answering anyhow.

Society, it's never happened to me, I don't think I've ever had any sort of enemy on AB. It's just one of those Q's that pops into my head every now and again. I've got more.

one person has ignored me for about a year due to a silly arguement, who cares???
pixi-.........Pinkilady can explain that one better than most of us ! :o)
Well I don't think I'd argue with someone, I might disagree with what they said but unless I thought it was very important then I'd probably keep it to myself. It would certainly seem very petty to carry it on to a completely different topic, then it would be personal not just about the subject you were discussing. If you feel you are being harrassed then you should report it.
There are one or two people on here I tend to sort of bypass but it tends to be on chatty threads anyway. If I knew a decent answer to a question they had asked or felt I had something useful to say then I would still say it.
i don't get how anyone knows they are being ignored - perhaps the person concerned just dosen;. know the answer or hasn't see the question?
That's what I was thinking too, Bednobs.

Things can get quite heated on Society and Culture and Religion, as you can imagine. I was just wondering. Perhaps there isn't as much crossover of topics as I'd assumed.
Half the time I don't even look at the question.
Sorry what was this one again ?
