leigh on sea

I read some recommendations on here for living in Leigh on Sea, just wondering if there are any streets or places to avoid there, or particularly nice places? For a 30s couple, no kids (yet?). I'm guessing by the price of property that those estuary views are in great demand, so looking more for some local insight! Thanks...

Oh, I used to live in leigh! it is 20 minutes away from where i am now. Basically, you want to be south of london road and anywhere near leigh broadway. A good school for little ones is called 'Westleigh' primary school and is on london road. What else??? errr old leigh is good for an evening drink. It is a nice place to live. No dodgy areas really. What did you have in mind?
