Getting a Letter to somebody famous

Hello. I would like to write a letter to an actress that I really admire. Does anybody know what the best way to do this is? Should I just find out who their agent is, and send to them, for forwarding on? Silly question I know, but, well, haven't done it before so no ideas! Thanks

a friend of mine wrote to 2 people who had recently had articles in the national newspapers. she sent the letters to the newspaper offices and they were forwarded, and she got a personal reply to each.

not sure how helpful that is :o)

everyone who is famous has fan club and most have their own websites. which they check regularly. you could try that.but the old fashioned way is probably best.
when you write remember they probaly get hundreds of letter so yours must stand out from the rest.
I wrote to a few famous people when I was a kid, And never got a reply ( take note Suggs of maddess & jim'll fix-it) I was gutted.
remember not to take it to heart if they don't reply,
