Nagging. The more you nag, the less likely I am to do whatever you're nagging about. You'd have thought evolution would have sorted this out over the ages!
breathing !!!
This will be controversial and I'm sure will get me in a lot of trouble.....But MOST women drivers make me so mad! Of course there are exceptions to the rule, but generally they're all awful. They sit hunched over the steering wheel with their forehead practically on the windscreen. It must be tricky to see the mirrors from there. They're at their worst while on the motorway. They hate changing lanes! If they really must go into the middle lane to overtake a lorry for example, they do it slowly. They won't put their foot down. They'll just happily overtake at 62mph instead of the 60 they were doing before. And then, they never move back again! And because they can't see their mirrors, they miss the number of irate drivers flashing them from behind! I'm hoping a woman can actually answer this question: Do women, whilst driving, have some kind of tunnel vision? There seems to be no awareness of cars behind or to the side. At junctions. Why pull out slowly and be in 3rd gear before you hit 20mph causing all other traffic to slow down? Give it a bit of gas! What about traffic lights? Most women I see take all day to get going when the lights change to green. By the time they get into gear, take the handbrake off, remember which pedal to press and check their make-up, the lights are red again! I'm gonna stop now - I can feel my blood pressure rising....Like I said, this is by no means all women drivers. Just most of them.
Picky women!! Just kidding! Nothing wrong with being picky, at least you get what you want, just takes a bit longer! Clingy women and negativity are a big turn off for me.
What are the habits that annoy you? Got me intrigued now!
I love you usually does it!! I was a total commitment-phobe before I met my new fella. The rest I just got bored of. One of them was too nice and got on with my parents a little too well, one was ginger (no offence, really!) and one was jealous.
To be totally honest, anything that puts you off someone, they are not right for you. Sorry, boring answer but that's the way it is :oS
craigyb85......these women don't always drive like that. they just do it to annoy YOU! I'd be annoyed by the way you generalise about women drivers, but hey....life's too short. I'll just enjoy my cheaper car insurance and be off!!! To be boring also, I agree with PaulB, if anything annoys you enough to make you not want to go out with someone, then they aren't the one for you. OR, you're not really ready for a relationship/commitment, and are subconsciously sabotaging your chances by finding 'unacceptable' faults in others. the very fact that you think you MIGHT be too picky may have some bearing. Remember, NO ONE is perfect. I've been with my dearly beloved 15 years and love him to bits, but he has one or two things about him that annoy me, just as I know I annoy him sometimes. that's life. if you are attarcted to someone enough, you'll look past these 'faults' and learn to live with them.
The only things that put me off a woman are - 'ladette' behaviour, smoking, tattoos or piercings, and in my darling wife's particular case, the only thing (I know, I'm very lucky!) thing she does that irritates me is talking to me when I'm not in the same room, so i have to go to where she is and ask her to repeat what she said.
Not listening
At the checkout, waiting until the total due is displayed before they start looking for their purse.
I find vanity really unattractive in a man (and he obviously shouldnt be a slob either!); Being disrespectful to women and older people; 'lad' behaviour (beer guzzling and thinking that flashing your bum and/or wearing a wig is the funniest thing in the world)

Ok, so these arent silly little habits, but they are mighty annoying!

Wearing too much make-up, smoking and above all, using men and taking them for a ride. Constantly.
Women seem to analyse everything more - seem to spend half their time reviewing what they said and what was said to them.

I know my wife hates the fact that I leave laundry in random places throughout the house as well as little piles of pocket change - apparently this is a common dislike amongst her female friends
my boyfriend annoys me when we have an arguement+he sulks for no reason even when he's in the wrong!Baby!
I can't stand blokes who like having a punch up with anyone who dares to look at them the wrong way/accidently knock their pint etc. Aggressive blokes are weak in mind and weak in personality.
Men who pick their noses in cars & think you can't see them - disgusting habit!
Sniffles .....wont use a tissue to blow it out just goes on sniffling....irritating laugh...kind of like a machine gun......
I bet most women will agree on these...making a sandwich/toast/snack/whatever and leaving crumbs all over the surfaces... passing something on the stairs ready to be taken up/taken down and not picking it up...nicking my side of the bed - when i'm in it!...farting in bed...not washing up...leaving pants/wet towels on bathroom floor/bed...leaving shoes EVERYWHERE...walking into a tidy house and destroying it...telling you to shush during the news/football...driving like an idiot...going for a lads night out and coming in smelling of lager and kebab and expecting 'cuddles'......we love our men! You have just have to realise women and men are different, compromise is important and a sense of humour is essential. I tolerate the bad habits (as i have equally annoying ones) for the good times. No relationship is 100% - if it's 80/20 you are doing well!
Good question psyphi. That was like a wee check list to see how you and your partner are fairing. Top of my list is my boyfriends rather too literal approach to 'doing the dishes' in that it doesn't include wiping work tops or washing anything complicated, especially not pots which are left to 'soak' for days. But I still love him because he's lovely. Nykkieberry's right, you got to take the good with the bad. When the bad starts to outweigh good then its time to jump ship.
