Saint Boal or Bual

In a small town in Spain (Pozaldez) there are two large churches. One is dedicated to San Bual, 'a French saint' according to a guide book. I have been unable to find out anything about him, other than an alternative spelling, Boal. I have looked in large dictionaries of saints and, of course, on the Internet, but no luck. Can anybody help?
