The above website is out of date. Since this October the 101 office block in Taipei is the world's tallest building at 1,667 feet, depriving the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpa of that title.

|
And I believe the CN Tower in Toronto, Canada is the talleststructure in the world.

|
Scurb all the above, because as of early next year the Taipei 101 building in Taiwan will be the tallest structure, building, whatever of any description, anywhere in the world.

sft42 - why would you scrub all of the above when that is what geofbob said?

My apologies......a senior moment!

Apologies unnecessary - hope my pointing it out didn't appear too rude.

The present tallest structure is the KTHI - TV Tower in North Dakota at 629 m, but the Australians are building a solar tower in the middle of the Outback which will be a whopping 1,000metres high when completed about 2007- twice the height of the CN Tower.
