I love buying presents but I hate wrapping them - and I feel like I've been doing it for days!  Waiting for the last three to be delivered today and once wrapped that will be my lot for another year!  Thank goodness for that!

And my tip:  let someone else do it.

Always put if off for as long as possible then it's a last minute rush. Every year I promise myself that I will wrap as I buy but....... here we are again!

Do you need my address?

Used to buy all my grandkids books for Christmas and didn't mind the 'wrapping' duties.

Nowadays, they all get a card with cash in - save for the youngest (4 year old), who gets whatever he is 'into'. This year it's the 'Spidey Team' so i'll shortly be wrapping 2 plastic figures from the team - movable arms and heads, etc. Last year it was dinosaurs.  Can't wait until he's old enough for a card and cash - so much simpler😊

I hate it...does my back in. Plus my Virgo tendencies demand perfection, but my impatience cancels that out.

hate hate HATE

Always have a fight with the Sellotape - this year most folks will  receive a token of some kind, garden, book, store, etc.

I hate it.  Mr L is an excellent present wrapper so he does it all.  I have no patience and never get it right.  We are present free this year by family agree agreement.  Our cleaner will get her large box of chocs unwrapped.

Gift bags, just tape the top shut.... Sorted even come with gift tags attached

I start off loving it and am all neat and nice, by the end I'm practically throwing the paper on the gift. Thankfully, not many to wrap this year.

Hate it with a passion. It is only eclipsed by vacuuming the stairs or cleaning the oven.  Thankfully, Mr BM is very good at it and is happy to do it. His wrapping looks like someone professional did it; mine looks like it was thrown on by a sqirrel on meths.

Love it.

Just the same as us Barmaid!

I love it, and I'm very good at it.

We have a big family, and with friends, Mrs H buys for over forty people, and family all get two or three things each, so there is a seriously large number to do.

Two tips to make life much easier -

Invest in a tape dispenser, it's a lot easier than breaking off wrapping to find the end of the tape and snap it with your teeth.

The other tip is - wrap on an ironing board, it gives you plenty of room to roll paper out, and saves the agony of backache.

Hope that helps.

And my tip:  let someone else do it.

Just about no task is to be loved. Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow.

But wrapping presents is no big deal when you finally make the effort. Not that I've needed to for years.

I'm ambivalent on this.  I tend to put it off, but then when I start I want to do it well and really enjoy seeing the pile of wrapped presents mounting  at the other end of the table.  All those to be posted are either on their way or have arrived.  Handed over a bag-ful to one daughter last night and others are sittingon the spare bed awaiting the arrival of their recipients.

So, I put it off, dread it and then find a satisfaction in having  done it.

I love buying and wrapping presents.  If I hated wrapping them I would get the store to wrap them.

My dad was ordered to wrap the presents one year.

He got hold of a few unused Tesco carrier bags and tied a label on them.  Mother was not amused😂

I don't mind wrapping boxed gifts, or something pretty solid, but anything soft and it sends me barmy.

I love unwrapping presents the best.
