And folks on here want to let these people in! . . Unbelievable!!!!
Two days to go and another wodge of votes in the Brexit box.
Not really. The risk adverse, 'economy is everything' group have already decided.
Shouldn't people in the UK be proud that their country stands like a beacon of liberty in a benighted world of oppression and exile?
Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
If they're that unhappy hopefully they'll go home. I seriously am at a loss to know why anyone wants them here.

Perhaps Sandy could explain?
//a beacon of liberty //

More like a beacon of idiocy!
I think they are just telling us what they are going to do to our country if and when they get here.
I see no reason for pride that one's country is seen as the meal ticket to a better life, and is therefore under siege from those who think they should be allowed to go anywhere they like and cause whatever trouble they want.

For many it's more about economic benefits than true liberty.

We'll help out your tired, your poor, your wretched, but in your/their own part of the world. But send those who wish to invade our nation, back to their homeland; or for those legitimately fleeing something perilous, as near to it as is safe until it becomes safe for them to return home.
It's ok I have made a reservation for them at Gromit's Tibetan St Mandela organic peace Tea shop in Islington, which has recently declared independence.
>Two days to go and another wodge of votes in the Brexit box

Not really. i think that those who haven't really thought it through and think that leaving the EU will stop migrants trying to get here via Calais are the sort of people who had already made their minds up
It stops getting a EU passport being the way to pass across. That is a plus.

Illegals we always have to deal with, although often on catching them we can't seem to send them back.
//think that leaving the EU will stop migrants trying to get here via Calais //

I don't know anyone who thinks that.
Thanks naomi. So I am not sure then that this incident should persuade people to vote for Brexit
Meal ticket is about right.
they are shouting "**** the UK" but they still want to come here, very odd!
fiction-factory, no need to thank me. ‘Out’ we won’t be compelled to take people we don’t want here. The EU have let them in – let the EU deal with them.
