what was your favourite fashion gear when you were younger,mine was white bell bottoms and a black and white pvc hat,loved my mini's.

Minidress, long boots (I was a lot thinner then), and the velvet peaked cap.

forgot to add - lots of Dusty Springfield mascara, pale lippy and backcombed hair.

I wore to death a skinny black polo-neck sweater and full length psychedelic skirt in the early 70s.
Then there was the skin-tight distressed flares with added butterfly and military appliques (I met a lad in the army, he had contacts, my backside showed I was a sergeant) - mid 70s.
I had a totally fab bottle green baggy jumpsuit in the 80s, buttoned from high neck down the side, cinched with a nurse's belt, worn with stilettoes, a dreadful to-do to get a wee.....
These were in the days when I had a shape worth showing off. I stick with camouflage now.

don't suppose I have one now Slinky, it was lemon with pale green flowers on it, long sleeved and about 6" above my knee where a matching pair of bloomers would show with broadrie anglais lace for effect, wore this with lime patent shoes and clutch bag, not forgetting the matching polo slide in my hair :-)

Crushed velvet catsuit in Purple with huge flares. Or denim hotpants with thigh high leather boots and a polka dot cropped shirt.

Could still fit into them if I had them LOL

I like the fact that you can now wear almost anything and still look good. There is no one trend that everyone "must have".

My favourite things were definitely denim bell bottoms and platform heels, black with little yellow dots and yellow bow at front - wah hey!

jumpers with 'bat sleeves'
