Honey ants

Did anyone see the programme on honey ants in Arizona last night? It was more exciting than lots of so-called dramas, or am I just sad?

Yes, I watched all of it before 'The Code' came on. Good programme.
I was wondering how they got the underground photography. It seemed to be standard visible light stuff but I was thinking that any artificial light would have disrupted the colony.
