Or at least that is how I will be viewed by a large percentage of society it seems... off to the hairdressers to swap my redbrown for blonde... combine that with my cleavage my IQ will suddenly become irrelevant and I will be expected to read nothing more taxing thanOK

Any other ladies notice a difference in how you are treatedwhen blonde/brunette/redhead?

Well I am currently pillar box red, was pink before that purple and before that blonde but naturally mid brown. I do get a lot more attention and more people seen to want to talk to me when I have unusual colours, not always a good thing. It is strange how people make assumptions about you just because of the colour of you hair.
Oh I thought you were really having your brain removed. I was just going to reassure you thats its a simple operation and there are no serious side effects. I was well pleased when I had it done ;-)

I never got treated any different if I was blonde, but then again I don't have the cleavage to go with it :-)
moving to Essex are you ? might as well get a spray tan at the same time !
seriously hope it turns out well, are you having a cut as well ? so you have a whole new image.I would love to have that bright red vegetable dye that young people have I love it, but at my age I have to stick to highlights.Good luck.
I find this post very 'hairist'. Spare amthought for us slapheads who have no choice. ;-)
I sometime have to wonder if some woman actually do have their brains removed when I hear they are paying nearly a £100 for a hair-do or change of colour!!!

MADNESS!!!
Eight quid for mine and I colour myself! ... smug or what! ;0)
Wouldn't mind having mine removed this morning!
Im sticking to acrtic blond, Carakeel trims it with a trimmer and a free polish to boot :-)
Hell ya!!...everyone asked me (redhead)"do you have a ferocious temper""....actually no,
I have a psychotic temper!! O.Kaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!!!! =)
It is nice to see Women taking pride in their appearance and a bit of pampering now and again is good for self esteem. Husbands/Partners and Boyfriends like to see their Woman looking radiant and attractive.
Like everyone else, I see attractive Women walking down the High Street every day but I like to look beyond that.
Personally I do not really care what colour hair or how much cleavage she has or what the colour of her lipstick is. What is she really like as a Person is far more important in the long run. Give me 10 minutes in anyone's company and I will soon find out what he/she is like. Big egos and shallow personalities are a big turn off for me as are a lack of manners and lack of intelligence.
Having a beautiful Soul, being kind and considerate, sincerity and truthfulness is what I look for.
Combine the facial beauty to all of this and you become not only a beautiful Woman but a beautiful Person as well.
Where is this beautiful Person ? Well, I certainly know where she is !
Come on Redman, big t1ts are a plus though!!! :-)
lol, just kidding, I actually agree with you.
They are RATTER ! I am a Boob Man !!! lol
nice post red
I'm sure you will look lovely Rowan - I have been all different colours, but have three shades of blonde put through my hair now.

I've never been treated any different with any hair colour - as Redman says its the person within that radiates beauty.

LOL ratter, I am sorry, I thought you wrote that carakeel cuts your hair with a strimmer... ;-)
Once more unto the bleach, dear friends, once more
Go for it Rowan - a change is as good as a rest and summer is a great time for it,
embrace this glorious sun of ours ☺
My hair is white now - my husband always used to say it was platinum blonde. When I was young I had all sorts of colour. When I eventually decided to grow it out and leave it its natural colour, I was quite surprised. I had not realised it was brunette (dark brown to you chaps). I had remembered it as a light mousy brown.
I decided to change my red hair back to blonde on Thursday and as my hairdresser couldn't fit me in until next week I thought I'd do it myself. Big mistake! It went orange.
The long bits and ends were perfect but the roots were proper ginger. So I decided to patch it up this morning. Another big mistake. The roots have gone slightly lighter but are definitely still orange. Oh, and my head feels all weird and tight which is probably from all the bleach I've put on it.
I now have to wait until Tuesday to get it sorted. Wasted £15 and have to stay indoors all weekend.
