I am looking for a black doll possibly made in the 50's or 60's, it has earrings and silver jointed elbows

Is this a baby doll? And can you explain the silver elbows?

Is she hard plastic or soft bodied?

How big, roughly?

I think the elbows had silver hinges or screws so you could move the arms up and down from the elbows. It was hard bodied with a short afro hairstyle and red lips
