knitting pattern

Does anyone know where I can find a pattern for a man's pair of knitted trousers? . I have been asked by a fashion student to hand knit a pair from her design but I need a basic pattern to follow. HELP!!

I had to answer this one, although I wouldn't have a clue where you could obtain such a pattern - sorry. I'm sure someone'll be able to suggest something though. I've just got these amazing visions of men in knitted trousers!!!! I can't imagine them being popular!

The only thing I can find is on a Norwegian pattern site which was given to me by a friend .These are for women and are a sort of long john /tights thingy ..though who on earth would wear them is to be left ! Though it does get rather cold in Norway !
You may be able to adapt the pattern with a bit of fiddling around .
