is there anywhere online that i can check my MOT expiry date when i have ONLY the numberplate to go on??

i cant find the last cert, and have no other documents to hand

The garage that did the MOT should have it on their computer.

I would assume that this means there is no V5 document.

It is rather simple, you ring the DVLA and ask them when your car is up for taxing. It doesn't get any easier nor does it require documents.
