Where can I find inexpensive plain white mugs for a craft project. Could be looking for 100, porcelain preferred to pottery.

i got mine from matalan around 6 months ago, but have seen some in local wilkinsons if that help
M and S have maxim porcelain at £3.50 and a plain cream mug at £1
Asda have a pack of 4 on offer for £1 at the moment!
Wow! you can tell I live on a small island without a lot of choice.... !
so you would need £25 and a deep trolley, but they are in decent cartons
Further to Dot's post:
Don't buy the 4 white mugs in a square pack, which are currently displayed near the entrance to most Asda stores, for the promotional price of £1. If you head over to where the kitchenwares are, you'll find that exactly the same mugs are available in different packaging (4 in a row, rather than in a square pack) for the regular price of 75p!
