i think you may have found the perfect dress! it is gorgeous! shame about the price tag but maybe i can find something similar...
nice one!! thank you!!!!!!
Wow, some of those dresses are stunning.

karieoke - if you can find a good dressmaker locally she should be able to make you one at a fraction of those prices.
Good luck!
As a tip that might help in your pricing, they often make bridesmaid dresses in this length and they are usually a lot cheaper - you can get them made in whatever colour you want.

I had a ballerina length dress with a different neckline to the one you want, but it was really beautiful especially from the back, it was a bridesmaids dress that I had made in ivory and it only cost about 200 - that was 12 years ago mind you.

Have a look in the bridesmaids section and keep an open mind - the dress I tried on was navy blue, but I took a chance and it really paid off.
Have you had a look on e bay?
I've had another good look at the dresses on that site - how very annoying they don't show the back view.

After all, that is what the guests are looking at during the service
There are some really lovely wedding dresses on that site, Ethel, especially the one you pointed out.

My fiance will collapse if he finds that page in the history!! haha
Exactly Ethel and thats why I was so pleased with mine - it was a-line and very plain from the front but it had lovely buttons up the back and had some intricate embroidery on a sash that went down the back - you hold your flowers in the front and too much fussiness on the dress detracts from those.
