Velcro on a Dior bag?

Hi...I have just seen a really nice second-hand Dior bag on an on-line shopping site but it has Velcro fastenings in some places. It seems authentic otherwise but I don't know enough about designer handbags to know if they would have Velcro as a fastener. Please could anyone advise me? Any help would be much appreciated as the bag is not that cheap, even second-hand. Thanks.
PS It comes with authenticity tags but I'm not sure if that makes it valid or not.
