That I can get my car going ?
It has a flat battery and the handle to the bonnet came off in my hand.
Apart from having it towed to the garage which would cost the earth my mate Dave is hopefully calling round to see if he can get the bonnet open so he can attach the jump leads which have just cost me �11.
Anyone know of a rich old gentleman with one foot in the grave ? Only joking a rich young toyboy would be better, ha ha. xx

Anyways the update was I had to buy a new battery costing �66 + MY friend fitted it and then we found a back light out.
Well the good news is I can drive the car, how wonderful is that ?

Theonlyone I have been without car for some weeks now, for several reasons.
It was strange to be catching the bus, but in an odd way enjoyable as I was talking to people more.

Why do they break down on the run up to xmas , my nieces car was in the garage yesterday , any amount of layout is an inconvinience honey .

bigmamma tell me about it, yesterday fifty odd quid at opticians was putting on reading glasses and had a magnifying glass as well at the small print, you better believe it, ha ha, day before seventy quid computer repair.
Everything is packing in together.

They quoted �96 to upgrade and call out.

�1,800 ringing in my ears for a new boiler!!!

Why oh why do these boilers break down in the middle of winter???

That's an awful time of year for a boiler breakdown funnygirl . Being in rented property I at least don't have to pay for any boiler breakdown , just put up with the cowboys they send round numerous times to try and fix things . xxx
