Jack Hard - designer?

Has anyone heard of a clothes designer called Jack Hard? - at least that is what it sounded like. I was admiring some underwear that a fellow passenger had bought and she told me to use the internet to find "Jack Hard Knickers".

I`ve tried but no luck.

I think you'll find it is jacquard.. a fabric, rather than a designer!

Try going to eBay and typing in "Jacquard Knickers". That is probably what you are looking for.

I have a pair of these in Pink and cannot understand your reactions that it must be a heavy material. They are no heavier than any of my other but the Jacquard effect makes them different and VERY attractive. Mr. Jacquard invented the loom to make this possible and there is no reason at all why it should be restricted to heavy material.
Indeed if yyou care to google, you will find many items of lingerie using the Jacquard process, expensive of course because it is quality.

Pack of 5 for £12 from M&S is hardly expensive
