What does 109.9 per gallon mean in � Sterling ?? (Or is it per litre?) Sorry no good at maths !

�1.10 a litre, but they are trying a pathetic attempt to make it look less.
Thats the average price per litre. If you see that for a gallon....Fill up
The 109.9 refers to pence, so to covert it to pounds it would be �1.099 per litre (but as you can't get 0.099 of a �, as panic button says, it might as well be �1.10)
...but since it is rare for a person to buy 1 litre only, the 0.9p pricing does make a (slight) difference.

10 litres @ 109.9 = �10.99
10 litres @ 110.0 = �11.00

or a saving of 1p for every 10 litres.
Still �1.01 per Litre in the North.
�1,04pr ltr in some places in Bournemouth.
