i was wondering if roller coasters and the like affect contact lenses? i'm going to a theme park with my boyfriend tomorrow and last time i went it was a hassle having to keep taking my glasses off to go on the rides. so i was thinking about wearing my contact lenses, only i'm a bit worried about the high speed, upside down type rides, whether that will affect my eyes or lenses? bit of a weird question i know, would like to hear anyone's experiences. thank you!

My partner wears contact lenses (soft) and we have been to Alton Towers twice this month. She has never had any problems wearing her lenses on the rides, and they seem to have most types of the rides you describe.
I've had most types of contact lenses & have been on lots of roller coasters. The only bit I suppose you should be careful about is to take some equipment to sort yourself out should a bit of grit blow into your eye while you are whizzing round!

thank you for your answers! i'll be taking my eye drops, and probably my glasses as well in case of some kind of emergency! haha! i'll probably have my eyes closed on the rides anyway! :)
