Does anyone get milk delivered? How much is a pint delivered and is there a deadline that they have to deliver by?

Thanks

I dont but my company where i work does i cant tell you the price.
They come in plastic bottles and dont deliver on wednesday so they get double on tuesday.
Not really fresh you might as well by it from Tesco.
(Ive got shares in Tesco so dont go anywhere else lol)
I get milk delivered, I buy semi skimmed at 49 pence a pint, and it's there before 6am every morning, except friday, which is money collection day.
Don't think there's a deadline, my dad used to have his own milk round business, and although he always got up at 3am, to start his round, he was usually finished delivering by 9am, but it would depend on the start time, and size of round, i suppose.
sharon54 - 49p a pint sounds very expensive! I pay 37p a pint. I don't know if there is a deadline, but my milk is always here by 7 - 7.30. If you ask your local milkman I'm sure he'll be able to tell you what time he's round your way as they do have a set routine so will always be on the same streets at about the same time. The milk from our milkman is from a local farm and is much nicer than supermarket milk - even Tescos!
Hi Spudqueen,
I pay 4.90 a week, for 10 pints, so I wonder if different dairies, have different prices, our local dairy is Express?
I know supermarket milk is also much cheaper, but i think I stay loyal to the milkman, mainly because my dad had his own milkround :-)
sharon - ours is a local milkman, he lives in our village and gets all his milk from a local farm, so cuts out the middle man of the big dairy firm. I suppose we're just lucky.
