I have HGV and PCV on my license, but with different expiry dates.
PCV expires in february next year.
When I have my medical, will both dates reset to be together, or will my HGV one need another medical when it expires 2 years later? It would be ridiculous if it did.

I don't think the licence expiry date is relevant. You have to have your first compulsary age medical at 45,so by default, they both expire then unless you pass fit for both. So if your having your age medical, then I would guess that the medical will have to apply to both. If the medical your taking is a firms one and not age, then at 45 you will still have to take the compulsory medical for both
