I have a Pace digibox. We have a sky dish and cable running into our flat's front room. The question is how easy is it to buy a viewing card and begin watching sky through it? Where can I buy a card from? How much? What channels will I have.

Thanks!

Its easy to subscribe to sky. All they want is your money. You will get no "help" from them with your equipement should you need it. PLus if you want sport or films you cannot have unless you "subscribe" to other, maybe unwanted channels. The are very dictatorial.
Have you considered "Freeview" ? You will need a receiver, but its a one of cost of about 60..00 upwards. In fact some of the new televisions have a freeview receiver build in now. you can check her if freeview is available in your area. Just put your post code in http://www.freeview.co.uk/

You can also get Freesat from Sky which, since you already have all the gear, will cost a one-off 20 for the viewing card. Have a look at http://www.freesatfromsky.co.uk for more info.
you don't need a card from SKY to receive some channels, just try it and see if you can receive enough,BBC 124and5 and loads of others, I get about 30 channels totally free.
