What poem?

'Time passes and I lie here alone.' My partner has sent me flowers from abroad. I suspect the attached message was from a poem. Does anyone know which one and who wrote it?

As far as I can remember the quote is sub-phrasing one of Sappho ` slittle ditties(Oh torturous days at A Level).See if you can find the poem by googling it

Thanks for your help dr pop. I couldn't find anything using the line of the poem. Knowing it's Sapho enabled me to find at least four translations of the fragment and not one of them was the same as the one printed above. Thanks again!
