Hello all. Recently bought Game Of Thrones boxset off ebay, brand new and sealed. Was suprised how bad the picture quality was. Started to supect it was fake even the packaging was really good quality. I did some googling and found a program called Nero Info Tool. Scanned one of the disks and it has no copyright protection, is only one layer instead of two and says Region all instead of Region 2. Went to Asda and bought the original and the packaging is different and the scan results are different. I want to be 100% sure before I report the seller (who is ignoring my messages). Any advice please? Cheers.

What colour is the underneath of the disk? Is it purple - if so thats a dvd-r or dvd+r. Commercial dvds are greenish.

Sounds dodgy to me.

The disks are silver in colour, same as the known originals. Looks like the whole disk has been used up (4.36gb not 7.01gb like the originals) The labels look really good too. Not sticky ones from a printer. It was only the picture quality that made me suspicious. The seller has sold others and been left good feedback for them. Only 90% sure they are fake. Thanks
I'd take them to Trading Standards and let them sort it out.
