Is anyone with Giffgaff and what do you think? My Virgin contract is up for renewal and these seem much cheaper.

I went from Virgin to GiffGaff because Virgin can't provide a 4G service. I'm pleased with it, but as there is no contract you are not tied if you don't like it.

Give it a go!
Been with them for about two years now, never had a problem. Everything is done on line but it seems to work well.
Are they much cheaper?

Seems they charge for the phone and a separate deal for the contract / sim.

So for example on GiffGaff a Samsung Galaxy S6 32GB says it is £18.04 a month if you pay over two years (and £25 up front).

But then you need to add the cheapest sim which is £10 a month (1GB of data) so that comes to £35 a month for phone and contract over 2 years.

But if I go to the Virgin site and choose a Samsung Galaxy S6 and a 1gb SIM contct it comes to £30 a month with no up front cost.

So Giff Gaff is actually £5 a month dearer.

(Other phone prices / contracts may be cheaper from Giff Gaff of course)
I am with giffgaff and don't regret it at all, hubby is with them as most my friends and calls are free to others who are with giffgaff.
I always by my phones outright, unlocked so that I can get a SIM only deal from wherever I like.
GiffGaff works out cheaper for me and gives me 4G which Virgin can't do. Seems daft buying a top of the range 4G phone and be limited to 3G.
