Dunno, but no amount of benefits could entice me to give birth 11 times!
She must be getting funded elsewhere. Maybe parents/grandad parents help pay for the holidays...

She gave birth 10 times B00....they have twins ;0)
Simply another example of abuse of the system and lack of responsibility / self control. The system needs overhauling to put responsibility back where it should be. I think we had a similar thread a short while ago. (Well if honest probably one a week.)
Maybe ummmm but I bet they didn't exit together.
Eleven times ummmm, unless the twins came out side by side !
The father works full time as a delivery van driver so the 'benefits scrounger' tag does not fit here. They are getting 'in work' benefits.
On reading the article, I think they obviously do know how to budget - they aren't breaking any rules that I can ascertain.

Could I do it with 11 children on that amount? I really don't know.
Ouch @ side by side!!!

Can you imagine?

In fact, no, don't!
Well that made me feel sick.
What made you feel sick ??
There are so many ways of *** the system, having children is one of them. I know someone who doesn't live a million miles from me who has made their company limited just so they can claim more benefit.
To be fair, I simply answered the OP - "Can you budget........?"

Whether the system is right or open to abuse is another question entirely.
chaptazbru2: That article. We all know it's happening but to make it public and be proud of it is beyond me. I claim benefits myself and I feel ashamed of it - I certainly don't go to the press and tell them how good it is living off tax payers money. Before anyone says anything, 90% of the benefit I get I give back to my mum who has worked all her life - if anything she's just getting taxed less.
Well said Eddie51,Everyone on Benefits is NOT a scrounger as some people on AB (One in particular)would have you believe.
OK Diz, I thought it was the imagine of two babies coming out side by side (lol).
chaptazbru2: As a man it's something I may only ever witness, not endure, and not have to feel; I'm lucky in that sense, however I think I'd get some phantom pains just watching such a 'miracle?'.

She has given birth to 11 children and she is 'blaming the welfare system for her large family.'

Unbelievable.
So you didn't want replies about household budgeting? I feared not.
Question Author
Yes Mamy my question was about budgeting. I am unsure I would be able to budget like that family.

But then I read that she publicly proclaims that the welfare system was to blame for her large family. Also that her benefits help her fund a £30-a-week smoking habit.

Those are the things I find unbelievable.
Mr P and I decided to stop at two children for several reasons, one of the main ones being that we just couldn't afford any more.

I think stories like this do nothing for the image of the 99% of benefit recipients who do struggle from day to day and would never be able to afford to live like this particular family.
