A paypal transaction has appeared on my bank statement and whilst I don't dispute that I have made the transaction I can't for the life of me what I bought. How do I back track and identify my purchase. I have the seller identification

Thank you hc It only goes back to 2 June this transaction was 2 May and it doesn't show in history
What about checking your ebay account? That's where most of my Paypal activity comes from. Also check old emails as you normally get notifications from the vendor and also Paypal when a transaction goes through.
I'm sure you can click on something in paypal to see earlier transactions. How much is it? I sometimes get small bills for past listing fees that I'd forgotten about
On the right hand side in PayPal there is the 'view all my transactions' option, once in there you can specify a date range and it'll show you everything, however, if you're anything like me knowing who you bought from isn't the same as knowing what you bought :-)
when you are logged into do you not get the option to see all transactions

click on this and it will show up the item you have paid for
sorry Fitzer your post was not there when i started typing

thank you all - I have managed to identify the entry from my old emails.I identified it as some goods I bought for my grandson and his wife so it was a little more than I spend on books or DVDs also the name that shows on my bank statement didn't match the seller until I looked at my emails - mystery solved thank you again
