Im going to be looking to buy a 32" TV in the near future and was wondering if anyone had any tips on getting the best deal?

My only requirements are that it's a decent brand and has built in freeview. A DVD player built in would be handy but not essential.

My max price is £300 but I'd obviously rather pay as much less than that as possibl for a decent set (not bothered if it's not top of the range)?

(please don't suggest eBay)

Check out the Toshiba 32 inch BV501 at Amazon for £219.99 I ordered one yesterday, it Is not the latest model but the reviews are excellent, a good price for a 32 inch TV. it has Freeview. This leaves you enough money to buy a good DVD player too. Just check the reviews that is what I look for.

Ha, KJN I was literally just looking at that very tv on amazon and after reading the reviews added it to my wish list so I can compare it with some others later. It certainly looked like a good deal to me.
Hi Must be an omen , it is a good deal Currys £229 Argos £229 local shop to me £269 . The reviews are excellent, my son recommended it to me and he is into electrical goods like this in a big way, mine is due for delivery tomorrow. Have seen it in the flesh so to speak in Currys looks very good too, high gloss black. Also has a USB slot so you can play music and show pictures through the tv .looking forward to tomorrow.
This Samsung from Richer Sounds is likely to be a much better TV than the Toshiba and Richer Sounds is a brilliant place to buy it - it has the Which? seal of approval, too.
