Watches for Son in laws 40th birthday gift ideas required ?

My son in law is 40 in October.

I would like to buy him a nice watch, perhaps an Omega or a Rolex.

What model would you buy a rather sporty lad ?.

I like the Omega Seamaster & the Rolex GMT Master 2.

Both are great watches, which one would you choose ?

My Boyfriend is very active, he has a Breitling which is a stunning watch, they come in many variations and you can also purchase different straps. They are on the expensive side though.
