Be careful engraving a watch, the vibration doesn't do them much good at all!!

Hi I think there is a bit of misinformation regarding engraving damaging watches. From my knowledge of engraving there are different methods that can be used such as manual or hand engraving which don't use a vibrating tip.A good engraver can usually remove the watch back if it has to be engraved using the vibrating tip. I had my rolex watch engraved at a place called EAG in Pitsford street Hockley and was very pleased with the result.
