Hi,
I'm desperately tring to think of some stylish, orginal but not bank-breaking wedding favours. Any ideas very gratefully received...

Have you got a theme that is running through the rest of the wedding? Colours etc?

Also, you could theme the favour depending on where you are gettting married - for example if its by the seaside, how about a stick of rock. If it's in Devon, how about a small bag of Devon fudge.

You can get Love Heart sweets in small packets, specifically for weddings. A lottery ticket per person? You can get what look like a pack of matches, but each stick is impregnated with flower or herb seeds.

I would suggest something the guest can eat or use, as you will end up spending money on something that could well end up in the back of a drawer.

i got 4 big boxes of lindor chocolate (the round ones) and used them. Someone I know got Hershey Kisses. Love hearts are a good idea and I was going to do that but they were really expensive, even on eBay. Though it depends if you wanted them printed with Just Married on them. The traditional ones of course are sugared almonds but I dont know anyone that ever eats them.

I went to a wedding recently and each lady got a small candle in a glass type thing (in the wedding colours) and had had our name written on the glass - personal, thoughtful touch and it is now in my bathroom.
